Season 18, episode 6

This episode began with the recruits playing a game using oddball combination of ingredients to get sweet and salty

The first task was making pizza create using unlikely duos "sweet and salty" as in the earlier game.

Blue team
Mike 24-bananas and bacon-Alton said bananas looked like cat feet
Kelly 55-mango arugula Alton called it a mish-mash
Leo 58-strawberries and ham-Alton didn't like much
Monica 25-combo of coconut and garlic...Alton said too much garlic

Red team
Lulu 67-blueberries, garlic oil, Canadian ham, goat cheese, mint on top...Ann seemed to like
Shannon 24-jalepino, maple syrup, apples, bacon, cream cheese, Ann said good.
Bridgette 51-canadian bacon, fontina cheese, sundried tomatoes, An said too many things.
Lesley 35--basil, parmesan, walnuts,honey, ham and tomatoes. Ann said it was pretty but didn't follow instructions

Next task-Ann making pork tenderloin with grape sauce and mashed sweet potatoes

Alton making fruit stuffed pork chop, chipotle mashed sweet potatoes.

Red team
Shannon Ann said tastes great
Lesley-Ann loved her sauce.
Bridgette-Ann like sweet potatoes, pork nicely browned
Lulu-Ann said sweet potatoes heavy on salt

Blue team
Monica-Alton said pork chop had very little stuffing.
Mike-Alton said stuffing good in pork chop
Leo-Pork chop too rare but acceptable
Kelly-Alton said garnishment should be edible, meat near bone quite raw

Judging

Alton chose Leo as best of his team
