True Crime Lovely Michelle Carter freed from jail; the weirdest of true crime stories.
Michelle Carter released from jail.
As a reminder, Michelle Carter is the fine and very sweet young woman that talked a troubled adolescent male to get back in his truck and get gassed to death.
Her very first words, as explanation for her texts on his phone from her urging him to commit suicide were "I thought people would be sorry for me."
For reasons I won't delve into yet, these are the classic words of someone with what is called Munchausen syndrome. I know all about it. I am an expert.

You also might have heard of "Munchausen by Proxy"...a mental, and horrible, disorder often covered on Dateline type programs.
That young man is dead because Munchausen people are as addicted to sympathy as any heron addict is to heron.
If anybody has a relative that seems to want to hurt themselves, loves hospitals, encourages others to commit suicide...email me at patfish1@aol.com.
The "by proxy" awful people tend to hurt their children to achieve sympathy.
Michelle had been committed to a mental hospital as she obviously had been instrumental in this young man's death. She had plenty of time to stop him but with her encouragement the young man killed himself.
For want of sympathy.
I know all about it.
I am an expert.
Contact me if you know someone who acts oddly in terms of seeking sympathy.
Trust your instinct.
Anyway, Michelle Carter has been released from jail. For after all she did not kill the young man. She could have saved him but how much against the law is it for someone to convince someone to commit suicide? The "by proxy" types are committing an actual crime because they hurt other people, particularly young, helpless people.
These people must be stopped. We are good people. We give sympathy when misfortune comes upon. But if that sympathy is obtained through fakery or through harm of others....we've got to stop it.

Straight from the desk of WTF, Iowa man convicted of being a serial child molester is freed from prison because he now says he is a woman
Weirdest true crime story of the week:
https://powderedwigsociety.com/josie-smith/
You want to see just how screwed up our world has become? Look no further than this story from corn country, Iowa, where a felon, convicted of no less than 15 sexual assaults against children aged 1 to 13, has turned justice on its head by declaring that he is now a woman. That is all the prosecutors and court had to hear. He/she/it/they are now a free man/woman/thing. The message we are hearing from the courts is clear: “Man bad, woman good.”
So, I guess the surest route to world peace is the castration of all males at birth. Utopia is so complicated. According to the Des Moines Register, the Iowa Attorney General’s Office is no longer seeking the commitment of a former Midwest Christian Services student convicted of myriad sex crimes because the individual now identifies as a woman. Court records show the state dismissed the application on Jan. 9. Attorney general spokesman Lynn Hicks wouldn’t comment on the reason for the dismissal other than to say “an offender’s hormone levels are an important part of substantiating an offender’s likelihood of recidivism.”
In November, the Storm Lake Times reported that Joseph Matthew Smith, a 23-year-old convicted of molesting a fellow MCS student in 2014, was “undergoing medical treatment that is needed prior to (Smith) potentially undergoing gender reassignment surgery.”

City Of Dallas Shuts Down Business Of Man Who Called Cops Over 100 Times In 20 Months To Deal With Criminals Near His Car Wash
Another weird story but so true. It's evidently YOUR fault when the criminals attack.

Let's talk about nuisance abatement laws. These are laws cities can use to shut down businesses that appear to draw more than their fair share of the criminal element. If you're a fan of asset forfeiture, you'll love nuisance laws. By abdicating their law enforcement responsibilities, cities can have their lower cost cake and eat your property too. It's win-win for cities, who love to use laws like this to effectively seize property from citizens who have the misfortune to operate legitimate businesses in high crime areas. Here's how it works in Dallas, Texas. The city says business owners must pay for their own security devices and personnel to keep their businesses free of criminals. No business will be compensated for these additional costs. All cops need to do is throw a couple of placards at the business and the city takes it from there. Criminal activity in the area is now the responsibility of businesses in the area. Can't get criminals to get off your property? Too bad. It's the city's property now.

A man who broke down tried to steal a patrol car after a deputy stopped to help him, according to a report from the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident began as an off-duty Union County Sheriff’s deputy was returning home in a marked patrol car on on the outer belt of I-485 between Providence Road and Lawyers Road. When the deputy spotted a disabled vehicle in the left lane slowing down traffic, he stopped to help. The deputy requested traffic assistance from Mecklenburg County authorities and tried to push the vehicle, which appeared to be out of gas, out of the roadway.
After a brief conversation the driver of the disabled vehicle, identified as 22-year-old JeJuan McArthur McCalston, ran from his vehicle and jumped into the deputy’s patrol car. The report states McCalston “repeatedly pushed the patrol car’s gas pedal and attempted to drive away but was unable” due to the transmission lock. The deputy was able to get McCalston out of the patrol car and took him into custody.
Heh. How stupid is this?
