Heh. A World Record for a dog fitting six tennis balls in mouth at once.

Well he deserves it.

A New York state family is trying to get Guinness World Records recognition for their dog's unusual trick -- fitting six tennis balls in his mouth at once. Cheri and Rob Molloy of Canandaigua said their daughter, Erin, brought golden retriever Finley home when he was just a puppy and she was a senior in college. Finley always had an affinity for tennis balls, and they noticed when he was about two years old that he would try to fit as many into his mouth as he could. The dog, now 6 years old, has developed the skill to the point where he regular fits six balls in his mouth at one time. Finley now has his own Instagram account with followers from all over the world.

2020 American Rescue Dog Show

It's on the Hallmark channel and it's great to watch.

Yes I do quite enjoy the more "normal" dog shows with beautiful pedigreed pooches marching around the ring. But this American rescue dog show reminds me of my own dogs, none of which ever marched haughtily around a ring. All of them, in fact, were rescue dogs.

They snored, had wrinkles, were sometimes in need of care, loved belly rubs. My current dog, Jackie, will watch me prepare to throw a ball then she stands still and lets it hit her in the face. Snoring, wrinkles, handicapped, belly rubs and more are all part of the categories for the American Rescue Dog Show.

On a side note, there were quite a few pit bull and mixes of same in this year's competition.
