Bachelor Season 24 Ep.8 -Meet the Family Dates

Kelsey

First hometown date after they leave Peru is with Hannah Ann.  Something about throwing axes.

It was a most usual Bachelor(ette) date except an added scripted item of having Hannah Ann's  father kind of against this idea.

Hannah Ann is from Tennessee.  Hannah Ann tells Peter that she loves him.

Next home town is in Iowa, where they can't count votes.  The date was with Kelsey.

She also tells Peter that she is in love with him.

Kelsey has a beautiful family,including two sisters and a brother, all of them very nice looking.  Her Mom and Dad are quite attractive as well.  I note this in case Peter should overlook the value of DNA.

Kelsey has talks with her Stepdad and Kelsey's Mom warns Peter, softly, to not hurt her daughter.

Madison from Alabama

Peter and Madison meet at Auburn university, where she graduated and where her father coaches a sports team.

This is who I predicted would win Peter's heart.

Peter and Madison go into a high school basketball court and meet a friend of Madison's Dad.  Peter and Madison fooled around with basketballs, threw a couple of shots.

Madison's family is very faithful.  They toasted with iced tea.

During this vignette Madison reveals that she is a virgin.

Always got to have one virgin in a Bachelor(ette) series. 

Peter talks to Madison's father and urges Pete to not break Madison's heart.  Her father asked Peter if he knew whether Madison is his choice.  Peter said he did not know but then even if he did know, this is not how this series goes.

Madison made a point of saying she was not sure if she was in love with Peter.

Victoria F. from Virginia

Peter meets Victoria on a beach.  Right from the beginning there was a feeling of uncertainty.  

They both attend an outdoor concert with Hunter Hayes, whoever he is.

All of a sudden someone else shows up, someone named Marissa.  Her face is blurred out but Peter mentions that he knew her in 2012.  It's not at all clear what is, or WAS, their relationship.

But Peter shows some anxiety over Marissa.  This seems so scripted.  You don't meet someone you dated years ago and suddenly fall back in love.  Later he tells Victoria about Marissa.  According to Peter she said that Victoria broke up a lot of relationships.

Again, why would that matter?

Seems like drama injected into the show out of nowhere.

Victoria isn't happy at all.Victoria warns the camera man off and walks away.  Peter never got to meet Victoria's family that night.  The next day Victoria shows up at Peter's hotel.  Victoria tells Peter that she's falling in love with him.  Peter complains about the depth of their relationship.  He says he's scared she will just up and walk away over nothing.

Silly sobs, as I see it, over nothing.

At the rose ceremony the next night,  Hannah Ann, Madison, and Victoria F. get a rose, to everyone's surprise.

Kelsey is sent home.
