A British socialite stole nearly $300,000 from her dementia-suffering grandmother to fund her lavish lifestyle, including designer clothes and stays in Beverly Hills hotels, according to local reports. Emily Rosina Evans-Schreiber, 38, had only about $50 in her bank account when she was given control of her 94-year-old grandmother Rosina Evans’ finances in April 2018, a Northampton crown court heard Friday, according to the BBC.

 The former model’s mother had become worried about her daughter’s “high life” in London, and bought her a house in Naseby, tasking her with taking care of her grandma, prosecutors said. Over the next eight months, Evans-Schreiber — who once worked as a fashion consultant for model Cara Delevingne — blew the cash on jet-setting, high-end hotels and cosmetic treatments, prosecutors said.

Police: Couple lured thieves with unattended bike, then beat them with bats in videos posted to YouTube

Here's a strange true crime story.  A couple of people put a tempting bicycle in their front yard and when someone tries to go off with it, they attack him or her with a baseball bat.

That's got to be some kind of entrapment.

Police say videos of the assaults were posted on YouTube. In the videos, police say the suspects appeared to plant a bicycle in the front yard of their home, unattended, and wait for someone passing by to stop and attempt to steal it. When someone would try to make off with the bike, the suspects would rush from the house and assault the person with a baseball bat.

This, evidently, is NOT a true crime story.

This kid had been missing since 12/20/19.  He was finally found, stuck....and dead...inside of a chimney.

A tragedy.  How awful it had to be for this kid to have been stuck inside that chimney until death took him.




Almost a month after Harley Dilly disappeared on his way to school, police believe the Port Clinton, Ohio, boy’s body has been found in a chimney. “This is not the outcome anyone wanted, but … we have some closure for the family,” Port Clinton Police Chief Robert Hickman said Tuesday.

 Harley, 14, was last seen on Dec. 20 in Port Clinton as he left for school between 6 and 7 a.m., police said. At least 75 law enforcement agencies have scoured more than 150 acres with helicopters, trained dogs and search-and-rescue teams, Port Clinton police said. During another sweep of the area Monday, authorities zeroed in on a vacant summer home that was undergoing renovation. There were no signs of forced entry to the house, and there was a lockbox for keys, Hickman said.

Police went in and discovered a tragic scene. “Harley’s coat, glasses were discovered on the second floor of the house next to a brick chimney,” Hickman said. “We were then able to discover what we believe to be Harley, who was caught in the chimney.” Since his disappearance, Hickman has posted daily updates in the search effort on the Department’s official Facebook page.

 Harley’s photo also became the page’s profile picture. An autopsy was being performed Tuesday to confirm the body’s identity and the cause of death. “This appears to be an accident,” the police chief said. “It appears Harley climbed an antenna tower to the roof and entered a chimney. Once in the chimney, Harley’s jacket and glasses were pushed from the chimney, through a flue, and into the second floor of the house. The chimney was blocked between the second and first floor, which trapped Harley.” It was not clear why the boy may have tried to enter the chimney.

I don't believe for one minute that Jussie Smollett will suffer one bit for that stupid stunt he pulled with a fake crime.

The one who should really go to jail, or at least be fired, is that crooked state's attorney Kim Foxx who dropped the charges.

If Jussie Smollett had last year pleaded guilty to some minor charge, done 90 days of community service and paid a substantial fine to reimburse the $130,000 worth of overtime costs rolled up by Chicago police detectives investigating his ludicrous assault claims, he might today be in full rebound mode.

 Picture it: The tearful, dramatic mea culpa with Robin Roberts. A bold admission — “This is on me” — followed by a deflection of blame to drugs or alcohol or the dark demons of hate we all know are lurking out there, waiting for third-tier television stars to emerge from sandwich shops. A charity concert. A blessing from Al Sharpton. Some lighthearted banter with Stephen Colbert. Then, gradual forgiveness and maybe another TV deal.

What Smollett did instead looks increasingly stupid. He admitted nothing and even doubled down on his fantasy tale of a late-night attack by men supposedly roaming the streets with a noose and a bottle of bleach. He was handed the opportunity by the office of State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, which dropped charges without demanding a guilty plea because he had supposedly already been punished enough, by secretly serving a few hours’ community service and forfeiting a bond of which he paid a mere $10,000. But if he was the victim of a crime, why should he forfeit one dollar or agree to one hour of community service? Worse: The real criminals are still out there!

Great Falls woman charged after newborn tests positive for meth. She reportedly gave birth to the child in a toilet

If this woman wants to take meth maybe she should stop having babies.  This is her third one taken from her for meth addiction.  An INFANT!  She gave birth to the baby in a toilet.

Nicole Clare Henderson has been charged after she reportedly gave birth to a child in a toilet in Great Falls. Court documents state that Henderson went to Benefis Health System at 7 a.m. on Thursday, December 6th complaining of cramps. She admitted that she had used meth about three hours earlier. Lab tests were performed on both Henderson and the newborn child; both tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine. A probable cause affidavit states that Henderson went to the bathroom while at Benefis, and "gave birth to a term child in the toilet." The affidavit also states that, according to the Department of Family Services, this was Henderson's third child removal due to narcotics use. Henderson has been charged with one felony - endangering the welfare of a child.

Grandfather who dropped toddler to her death from cruise ship window was 'unquestionably' aware it was open, court docs claim as he faces three years in Puerto Rico prison for her death

There is something really wrong with this story.  First, the video claims to show the grandfather dangling the child out of the ship's window.  I do not see any such thing.

The parents of the child are suing the cruise ship operator.

Puerto Rico appears to be trying to protect one of their biggest revenue sources.

The grandfather of tragic Chloe Wiegand was 'unquestionably' aware that he was dangling the toddler out of an open window before she plunged to her death from the 11th deck of a cruise ship, a new court filing alleges.

Royal Caribbean says Salvatore Anello would only have had to use his 'basic senses' to appreciate the danger this posed to 18-month-old Chloe, who died instantly when she landed on a concrete dock in San Juan, Puerto Rico on July 7.

'There was no 'hidden danger - Mr Anello knew the window was open,' the cruise operator boldly states in documents obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

Anello has been charged with criminal neglect by Puerto Rican authorities for allegedly dropping Chloe from the side of the Freedom of the Seas ship.

But Chloe's parents Alan and Kimberly Wiegand countered with a multi-million dollar negligence suit last month that blames Royal Caribbean for failing to install safety devices or warning signs on a waist-height glass window that Anello says he didn't realize was slid wide open.
