Pets-A visit to the SPCA, pictures! A video of my dog chasing a rabbit.

A Day at the SPCA

Granddaughter and I will visit the SPCA when she comes to visit me.  We both like the puppies, the kittens.  It's great fun.  Usually we combine a stop with other plans that have us out and about.

We took some pictures ....enjoy.

Below is a pic of granddaughter with a dog that was being taken home by a foster family.  God bless foster families.  They take dogs into their own homes and let them live with their families and pets.  The dog below was quite happy to get going somewhere besides the stall in the pound.

The kitten below was the saddest of all the animals we saw in the pound.  Indeed the verbiage on his cage said he was just bought in.  God bless.

The pic below was taken while the happy fellow was in his cage. Most of the dogs remain asleep on their pads when people visit.  This guy wanted me to take him home.  It's great that there are foster families taking these animals home that they may adjust to a normal home life.  Like the fellow below, they want to be happy.

The cat below attracted my granddaughter for want of attention and a petting. He tool looks forward to a life with his own family.

Below is a video of my own dog in her pursuit of a rabbit out and about.  Jackie does a great fence hop here.  Wait for it, it's not too far into the video.

Consider adopting a pet, or perhaps fostering.  I am considering volunteering at the shelter.
