U.S. Bank employee says she was fired after Christmas Eve act of kindness
The $20 bucks this bank employee gave to a customer whose paycheck was held up by the bank on the eve of Christmas eve is sad indeed.
Cause I tell you, if I met someone who seemed reasonably honest and was without enough funds to put gas in the tank to get home, I'd give them a few banks. Especially on Christmas Eve.
But the bank fired her.
Merry Christmas.

A Portland U.S. Bank employee said she was fired after giving $20 of her own money to a customer who was broke and stranded at a gas station on Christmas Eve. The man she helped called her firing “ridiculous.” “I was a customer of U.S. Bank, I needed help, and she went above and beyond,” said Marc Eugenio of Clackamas. “I felt so bad. She was the only one helping me.” On Dec. 23, Emily James, a senior banker at a U.S. Bank call center in Portland, said she spent more than an hour trying to help Eugenio, a bank customer whose paycheck from a new job had been placed on hold. The hold meant he couldn’t access the funds – just over $1,000 – and was essentially broke before Christmas.

Wife's Picture of her and her shorter husband Goes viral online

I don't know why this story is receiving so much social media attention. My husband was short although we were both about the same height. But I don't think it would have mattered much has I been a whole lot taller.
My husband was not the kind of guy that dwelled on such things that can't be changed.
I'd argue life is so much more pleasant when we accept that which is the destiny of our genes and God.
A woman named Lizz Adams from Los Angeles, CA, sparked a debate about dating short and tall guys when she posted a photo of her “king” of a husband who is just 5’5” (165 cm), while she towers over him in the pic. However, she and her husband were of the opinion that tall guys are simply bad people. She wrote in here tweet: Happily married to my 5’5” king for 8 years while y’all are getting ghosted by 6’2” alcoholics with 7th grade reading levels but go off about how you only date tall men I guess. A lot of Twitter users posted photos of them and their shorter partners, while others pointed out the obvious fact that there’s no objective relation between your height and your character
