Came across the picture below and thought it was too cool for school.
It's a pic of my granddaughter as she reads a Rush Limbaugh book. It's been a few years since Rush was writing these books about a talking horse. I bought Kaitlyn a couple of copies and she love them.
I sent Rush this pic of her reading his book but since he never answered me I am not going to include his link to his books here.
Still, it's a cute picture.

Appearing on CNN with Anderson Cooper, singer Linda Ronstadt compared President Trump to Hitler and says she sees “great parallels” between the United States now and the Weimar Republic in Germany.
Anderson Cooper:
I’ve read that you have read a lot about the Weimar Republic in Germany, and you sort of see parallels between then and now.
Linda Ronstadt: Great parallels. I mean the intelligentsia of Berlin and literati and all artists were just doing their thing, and as Hitler rose to power, there were a lot of chances to stop him, and they didn’t speak out. The industrial complex thought they could control him once they got him in office, and of course, he was not controllable. By the time he got established, he put his own people in place and stacked the courts and did what he had to do to consolidate his power, and we got Hitler. He destroyed Germany, destroyed centuries of intellectual history, forward and backward. People like Beethoven, Goethe, and Thomas Mann became jokes. They became Nazi laughing stocks.
Anderson Cooper I think a lot of people would be surprised to hear comparisons between what happened then and now.
Linda Ronstadt: If you read the history, you won’t be surprised. It is exactly the same. You find a common enemy for everybody to hate. I was sure that Trump was going to get elected the day he announced. I said he’s going to—it is going to be like Hitler and the Mexicans are the new Jews. And sure enough, that is what he delivered.

A woman in the U.K. was secretly gorging on baby powder for 10 years before her ex-partner discovered the bizarre habit, which she is now seeking professional help for. Lisa Anderson, who said she has depression and anxiety and has been told she may be suffering from pica, is awaiting a formal diagnosis. She said her symptoms first started after the birth of her fifth son 15 years ago. Pica is an eating disorder that involves eating items not typically considered food and that have no nutritional value.(snip) Anderson, 44, said she spends around $13 a week keeping up with her habit, which revolves around bottles of Johnson’s baby powder.

State air regulators are laying long-term plans to phase out gasoline-powered devices like leaf blowers and lawn mowers, saying they can produce more noxious emissions than cars. Plenty of Bay Area cities are already acting: At least eight have banned gas-powered blowers, and more restrict their use during times of day or up to a certain noise level. Novato may soon join the list. “What I think we need to realize is that we have to do something different for climate change in the world,” said Novato Mayor Pro Tem Pat Eklund, who proposed a ban on gas lawn mowers and leaf blowers in December. “If not, we are going to see a different world than we do today. Every little bit is going to help.”

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's wax figures separated from royal family at Madame Tussauds

This has, indeed, been the story of the week. Not that the world doesn't have more important things to worry about then Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Further, I am not sure just what their issues are but damn if they haven't been removed from the famous Madame Tussauds was museum.
We haven't heard the last of these two.
I hear they're moving to America.
Following the bombshell announcement that they’re stepping back as senior members of the royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wax figures have been moved away from the sculptures of their famous family at Madame Tussauds museum in London. “Alongside the rest of the world, we are reacting to the surprising news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be stepping back as senior royals. From today Meghan and Harry’s figures will no longer appear in our Royal Family set,” Steve Davies, general manager of Madame Tussauds London, said of the news.
